Dr. Michael Shelton established the practice at 4701 West University Drive in 2007 after spending 10 years practicing veterinary medicine at Parker Animal and Bird Clinic in Plano for 10 years. He was joined in 2011 by Dr. Dana Means known to the community as an owner of King Animal Hospital in McKinney before selling her share in 2010. Dr. Lauren Allen joined the team in 2012 when she was an undergraduate student at Texas A&M University. Upon graduating from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 she joined the practice as a full-time veterinarian.
