Celebrate the Holidays Around Trinity Falls
Break out the eggnog, the holidays have arrived. Keep your family busy with an assortment of holiday activities, starting with the Trinity Falls Tour of Trees, now through Dec. 18. Afterward, attend one or all of these great events near Trinity Falls.
McKinney
Home for Holidays
10:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25-26, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27

Historic Downtown McKinney kicks off its annual weekend of holiday fun with live music, food, carnival rides, Frosty the Snowman’s train, a petting zoo, snow hill, rock climbing wall, Candyland children’s area and visits from Santa. Merchants will be extending shopping hours downtown so you can get those holiday gifts.
Believe 5K/1 Mile Holiday Race
8-10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26
$30 registration
Join as many as 1,200 runners during this holiday race benefitting the Holy Family School of McKinney tuition assistance for low-income families’ program.
Holiday Tour of Homes
10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3-4

Tour eight beautifully decked out homes in downtown McKinney then have some holiday fun at the Christmas in the Village at Chestnut Square. The 49-year tradition benefits Heritage Village at Chestnut Square.

Holidays at the Heard

Traverse the half-mile Heard nature trail pointing out lights and holiday décor as you go. Live music will be performed at the Heard outdoor amphitheater.
